Impasse des Rêves

(Dead End of Dreams)

In the ebony night, she walks,
The neon light dances on the wet asphalt.
Close to the glass, she bends over,
He invites her for a session…

On the used leather she slips,
The smell of cold smoke invades the place
And her curls a little too smooth,
Through her trembling lips…

Then this morning, she falls asleep,
When everyone outside,
Ignores the price of the efforts,
Of her long night…

Another night, another asphalt,
Other mouths are now smoking,
Some lights above lighting up,
Over the desires that now combust…

Another night, another car,
She now runs at full speed;
The gun has changed her adventure,
leaving her wounds on the sidewalk…

Then this morning, she falls asleep,
When everyone outside,
Ignores the price of the efforts,
Of her long night…

Why

I wanted to create a dark and heavy fragrance, like an endless night.
The smell of smoked cocoa can be felt, it is insistent, from beginning to end.
The notes of raspberry and bergamot give a little hope to this woman who has taken her destiny into her own hands.

Notes

Raspberry, Bergamot, Cacao, Olibanum, Peru Balsam, Cedar wood, Birch, Leather

If impasse des rêves was a song…
